Waikato-Tainui College for Research and Development

In 2018 ACT was engaged by the Waikato-Tainui College for Research and Development (WTCRD) to implement a self-guided virtual cultural trail on campus. The Virtual Cultural Trail shares cultural stories and cultural context about significant POI on campus. These POI include Nga Whare Wananga (the stone pillars leading up the driveway), whakaeke (the entrance pillars at front of college) and a number of whakairo inside the college. The purpose for using the ACT platform was to provide a digital way for people, especially Rangatahi, to engage with the cultural stories and cultural context that are present on campus.
